Fall Essentials | Faux Leather Pants
In addition to the grey sweatshirt I mentioned in my other post, another essential that I think everyone should add to their closet this Fall is a pair of leather pants. Leather is one of those pieces that will always be on trend: it’s been around for so long that it’s a Classic (nothing says you’re a Rockstar quite like a pair with heels), but because it’s a look that’s in high demand right now, it’s considered trendy.
For Fall 2013, I’m leaning towards a faux finish, simply because there are so many different styles out right now. Unless you’re going to invest in a classic skinny or straightleg pair (and it truly fits your lifestyle), find a fast-fashion pair in a legging or pant that’s a little more budget-friendly. I recently found a GREAT pair from Allen B for $25 that I CANNOT wait to wear!
It’s a faux finish in the front, ponte knit in the back (ponte is a heavier knit fabric so it’s much thicker than your typical legging, almost like a riding pant). Perfect with my grey sweatshirt, right?!

In addition to the grey sweatshirt, denim, lace, suede, and a silk/satin blend top will pair well with it.
