A few weeks ago, I picked up Revlon Nearly Nude Foundation ($9.99), their latest foundation. Super lightweight, the formula is touted as giving seamless, nearly nude coverage so that it evens skin and looks like you’re wearing nothing at all.
Depending on my needs for the day, I try to have a nice range of formulas to choose from – some days you want skin to be dewy and fresh, others you want it to be more matte with fuller coverage. This is definitely a formula to be worn on those days when I want to appear polished, but have a minimalist look overall. This formula basically makes your skin look like a better version of itself; not quite airbrushed, but definitely youthful. It’s perfect for those that don’t like the feel of foundation (your skin still comes through and can breathe) but who want a little more coverage than a tinted moisturizer.
The only con is that it’s not that long lasting if you have oily or combination skin. Once I hit 4 hours, shine came through and it started to fade. You can try it with a primer but that takes away some of the “glow” that your skin will have (I’m still searching for one that works with it). If you’re someone that feels like you NEED fuller coverage, skip this one and go with their ColorStay formula instead.
It comes in 16 shades.
