A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing makeup on a lookbook shoot with Crazy Beautiful. It’s always fun working with those gals, and for me, it helps me get rid of all of the beauty products I accumulate (in the name of blogging, you know? ;)).
Anywho, we were shooting outside, and the model Margaret has a fair, creamy complexion, so I decided to do a really soft look on her: bronzy eyes, a flush of color on her cheeks, and a rose lip. I had my Canon with me, so I snapped a few shots in between takes.
To recreate:
Prep skin with moisturizer + a primer
Foundation: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour full coverage foundation
Concealer: Bobbi Brown Face Touchup Kit
Powder: Revlon Color Stay Pressed Powder
Brows + Eyes: Pixi by Petra Eyeshadow Kit (similar). Use a taupe shadow and an angled brush to fill in brows. Add bronze color all over lid; use a wet shadow liner to line bottom waterline
Lashes: Maybelline XXL Pro Extension Mascara
Cheeks NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Boho Chic
Highlighter: Benefit Cosmetics Watts Up Cream Highligther
Lips: NYX Extra Creamy Lipstick in Hot Pink + Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss Lipstick in 102
Set: Makeup Setting Spray (Dewy Finish)
I really like how the look turned out, and I can’t wait to see the full lookbook. I have a few other shots that I can’t share yet!
