Being a fashion blogger sure has its perks. Last week I got to “shop til I dropped” with some of my fellow fashion bloggers at Tanger Outlet’s Southaven location during a special VIP Blogger Event.

We were treated to a night of champagne, nibbles, and a little spending money via gift card while we toured the outlet. Our meeting area was set up with cute couches, tables, and some of the prettiest floral arrangements that I’ve ever seen.

It’s only been open a little under 2 years, so for many of us with super busy schedules, it was a fun way to FINALLY get in some (much needed) retail therapy. We received folders with some additional coupons and special perks at different stores, and we were presented with a challenge: have fun and shop, and whoever has the cutest outfit will win a $500 Tanger Outlet gift card.

First up was Banana Republic Factory. It’s one of my favorite stores to shop in and thankfully (or unthankfully??) they’d just gotten in their new Fall stuff. I grabbed a ton of pieces to try on and left with the pleated top, floral printed pants, a pair of deconstructed girlfriend denim and a necklace.

I then made a beeline to J.Crew Factory to check out their jewelry and shoes.

They had in a ton of new boots and flats. I loved the pinky-nude loafers (but I’m going back to get those suede booties-they’re less than $90) and decided to leave with those and a necklace. I also stopped at Dress Barn and picked up a faux suede crossbody bag (see below) and a few pair of earrings as well.

Once we got back to to the lounge, we mingled and set up our looks so that they could pick a winner.

Megan (Pretty in Pink Megan) won; her green linen blend dress with booties and bright clutch was a favorite. As you can see from the photo above, the flats I got were favorites too, lol. 2 other bloggers picked up a pair (I almost got the black but preferred the nude), and after the event, Q (According to Q) and I went back to BR Factory and bought that camel colored cape as well!

All in all it was a super fun night. I haven’t shopped like that in a looong time, and I can’t wait for it to cool down so that I can wear my new clothes. I have a few more items that I need to get for my “starter” Fall wardrobe, so I’ll be back to Tanger Outlet soon. I loved all of the special gifts and discounts, so thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of the event!
