I’ve always wanted to do arts & crafts. Problem is, I’m not very good at them lol. I glue my fingers together, strips of papers get lost in my hair…lets just say, I make a mess! BUT, that’s all going to change now.
I recently picked up Erica Domesek’s book, P.S.- I made this… after randomly seeing a link to her website on a blog.
Her DIY projects are Awesome! You may have seen Domesek’s work featured in publications such as Teen Vogue, InStyle, and Lucky, and online collaborations with WhoWhatWear, Elle.com and Refinery29. A former prop stylist, she’s also worked on campaigns with brands Sharpie, Bloomingdales, and Roxy. Suffice it to say, Domesek knows her DIY stuff.
Released fall 2010, the book is an extension of some of the projects that are featured on her site; it’s chock full of pictures and when I say the tips are easy, I seriously mean that (there’s a project in the book that uses a pair of stockings, scissors, and rubber balls to make a statement necklace thats ACTUALLY cute). All you need are a few basic tools to get started, and many of the creations in the book can easily be duplicated with material you may already have around the house.
Here are a few from her website:
See how easy these are?! If you’re looking to add a little a little personality to your wardrobe without breaking the bank, this book is for you. Visit her website here.
