A great alternative to dresses and shorts, rompers (when worn right) are stylish and easy to sport this summer. The key to pulling off this look is FIT. This is not a catsuit so don’t go for tight. It should skim loosely across the body, and depending on the cut, it should cinch in at your natural waist or slightly below. It should also be loose on your thighs (if it rides up, it’s too tight). If it’s fitting like a second skin, go up a size or try another designer. You may have to seach a little, but it is possible for just about everyone to try this look. Need ideas? Try: Statement jewelry: (mixed metal necklaces or bracelets, cocktail rings) Shoes: If casual, go for jeweled or metallic flats. A little dressier, choose a neutral wedge or platform Cover-Up: If its cool, try a a thin cotton blazer-push up the sleeves to give it a relaxed feel. If it’s warmer but you still want a cover-up, try a loose cardigan that hits mid-thigh. Bag: Anything goes. Play with a bright, textured clutch for night, a hobo or on shoulder bag for day.
