I have a few key pieces that I’d like to invest in this Fall, one of them being a leather pleated skirt. Just as versatile as your go-to pencil skirt, a leather skirt with slight pleating may just be universally flattering.
The key (as always) is fit, length, and pleat size. Some body types are able to wear the smaller, accordion style pleat but for most, a looser, more relaxed pleat is best-it has a slight flare to it so it skims the body w/o adding bulk.
HOW TO WEAR:
Because leather is always equated with edge (who doesn’t love a little rock ‘n’ roll element in their wardrobe?), the easiest way to make it wearable for day is to pair it with a silk tie blouse, or one with an embellished collar. Pair with lady-like shoes or flats. For night, keep the silk blouse but go for a skirt with a little more texture and switch out shoes for ankle booties.
Here are 3 looks to try:
Are you into the leather skirt trend? How would you wear yours?

I am soo ready to rock some leather. Please let us have some cooler weather. I am utterly in love with that first buttercreme pleated skirt and the last back textured pencil-tulip skirt.
