Last month I was interviewed for El Norte Noticias, a Spanish Newspaper here in Memphis for their fashion section’s December Issue and I got the opportunity to do a style segment as well!
The interview was about me blogging, working as a stylist/wardrobe consultant, and tips on shopping on a budget, so I decided to do 1 dress 2 ways (day to night if you will) and these are the images from the shoot. I’m a firm believer in buying pieces that are versatile so that you can max out your wardrobe, so with a few minor changes, the dress was easily able to go from casual office to date night/drinks with the girls.
For the day look, I paired the dress with a cardigan, a bright belt, tights and booties. The clutch tied everything together.
Dress: Nine West / Cardigan: Old Navy / Belt: Body Central / Clutch: Crazy Beautiful / Booties: Charlotte Russe / Tights: Target / Bracelet: Urban Outfitters / Sunnies: Vintage
For night, we wanted it to be more romantic, so we switched out the shoes and accessories and said bye bye to the cardigan.
Dress: Nine West / Belt: Body Central / Clutch: Style & Co. / Shoes: Cupid (Burlington) / Bracelet: Body Central
I loved the beauty look that Merenda created for her. During the day she had a mixture of browns on the lids, with a little bit of blush and berry lipcolor/stain, with hair pulled up into a soft bun. For evening she amped things up with more blush, added liner, and went deeper with the lipcolor, and loose waves. The look is easy to recreate!
