I’m a lover of bold lips, but I quickly discovered that for most colors, I look better when the formula is on the matte side (wine colors, I can do a cream). During one of my recent hunts at Walgreens, I saw that Wet n Wild had launched a new product, Megalast Liquid Color, which is an intense liquid color with built in moisturizers to help keep lips conditioned with long-lasting wear (up to 8 hours). The colors are incredibly pigmented, which made me happy, however they aren’t as moisturizing as they’re touted. Once applied, there is a weightlessness, but if you’re someone that HAS to feel a bit of glossiness with your lipcolor, it’s best to apply a balm over it, or layer with other lipsticks or glosses for a custom color. It has great lasting power (I only had to touch up slightly after a meal), so if you want to wear it on a hot date or a night out with friends, this is the perfect product for it. It comes in a total of 13 colors (I picked up Back to the Fuchsia (923A) & Click on My HyperPink (924A)), and they’re only $2.99.
