For the last few seasons, the peplum silhouette has been one of the most popular trends that designers and consumers have gravitated towards.

It’s feminine, with a little bit of whimsy, and surprisingly versatile. Whether it’s in a dress, skirt, or blouse, when it hits you properly (make sure it’s not too short!), it can give the illusion of a slimmer waist while accentuating your curves.
Whatever you choose to pair yours with, make sure that you keep things on the tailored side. Tops look best with a slim pant (cropped/ankle link is popular right now), skirts look best with a slim blouse or tee tucked in (for clean lines), and dresses can be worn alone or with a slightly cropped cardigan or blazer.
