Unless you’ve been under a rock the last year, you know that everyone is on the BB train right now. For women that want a product that primes, conceals, minimizes, adds color, etc. but don’t like foundation or want to do all of those steps, BB cream is right up their alley.
I’ve tried a few here and there and so far I like Rimmel London’s BB Cream ($6.99)
It’s touted to do NINE things(Prime, Moisturize, Minimize Pore, Conceal, Cover, Smooth, Mattify, Brighten, and help Protect) and while I can’t say that it does it all, I can vouch that it’s a great alternative to foundation and even tinted moisturizer. I’ve tried it on and off for the last two weeks; last Friday I wore it when I went out to hang with friends and it stood up all night:
It doesn’t feel sticky or cakey, and it stayed put. My only wish is that the shades were more diverse. I’m a relatively fair skinned AA woman but I had to wear the Medium/Dark in order for it come even close to my skin tone. It adjusted slightly once it warmed to my skin and I applied a light dusting of setting powder bc my T-zone has shine after awhile but considering it was rainy and humid that day, it did pretty well.
TIP: As always, apply with a good brush. The formula is thick, so a little goes a long way. If you’re tanner than me, skip this one until they come out with more shades bc it won’t do you any justice.
Have you tried this BB Cream (or any for that matter)? What did you think? Which did you like best? Comment below!

Thanks for posting! I was just about to ask my FB friends if anyone tried any of the BB creams out there on the market. I’m darker than you so I would definitely have to go with a brand that comes in a darker shade, but you’ve definitely got my wanting to try it!

definitely try them out. The formulas are getting better with each brand, and I like the fact that you don’t have to go broke trying to test them out. I’ve heard that Iman’s is really good so that’s next on my list!
