One of my favorite things to do is pair a pop of color with basic black and white. I’ve been obsessed with stripes for the last year (seriously, I own like 8 shirts-it’s an addiction), and I’m always trying to find an interesting way to wear them. Shirt: Banana Republic (sold out but this is similar) | Cardigan: Loft (sold out but this is similar) | Skirt: Target: (oldie but a goodie. try this. | Belt, Taget (oldie but a goodie. try this) | Gladiator Sandals: Target (only $15!) | Earrings: Guess (similar here) Black and white pieces are such easy go-tos, but to keep my basics from being boring, I usually add funky jewelry, a fun printed scarf, or a bright cardigan, like this tomato red one I found at the Loft (less than $15!) It’s SO bright, but the stripes keep it from being over the top. The belt is the same woven texture as my sandals but white keeps it from being TOO matchy-matchy while still tying it all together.
