Recently I picked up E.L.F. Flawless Finish Foundation ($6) to test out. Their tinted moisturizer is one of my favorites, and the packaging kept catching my eye so I decided to give it a shot. The formula is lightweight and oil-free with a semi-matte finish, so I figured it would be a great everyday foundation to help combat Summer’s heat (and the shine that comes with it). I was thoroughly impressed – the Caramel color (#83114) matched my skin perfectly, went on smoothly, has buildable coverage, and lasted pretty long. I also love the fact that it has a pump dispenser, so I don’t have to guess how much I need to use (1-2 pumps was more than enough). The only thing I don’t like is the color range-it’s limited to only 6 colors. I hope they introduce more in the near future because it really is a great product at an affordable price. It’s definitely on my recommendation list. TIP: I’ve been applying mine with a wet sponge (I haven’t done this in forever but it works!) but a good brush will work as well. If you want to use a setting powder you can, but some days I went without it and my makeup still looked fine.
