One of the biggest issues I have when it comes to blush is finding a color that will show up on my skin while simultaneously NOT looking like a clown. I love a pretty, natural flush and have had luck with a few powders and creams, so E.L.F.’s Studio HD Blush ($3) had been on my list for a while.
HIghly pigmented with a soft focus effect, the vitamin E enriched formula comes in a pump and is really creamy. It sheers out beautifully, giving your cheeks a nice glow, and is long-lasting. A little (I mean a tiny, tiny, tiny amount) goes a LONG way, so don’t apply in a rush.
It comes in 5 shades and is small (.34) but again, bc it’s SO pigmented, you will have this for a very long time. I’ve read it’s a good dupe for MUFE’s HD Blush, so definitely test out the colors and figure out what works best for you before investing in a higher cost product.
TIP
You can apply with your fingers or a wet/dry brush but I prefer a small stippling brush. It gives you more control and it keeps the product concentrated. Start really really light and layer until you have the desired effect. And make sure you apply it BEFORE powder. If you feel you have on too much, you can easily tone it down with your foundation/BB Cream, etc.
