[…] with Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder […]
Can we say HOLY GRAIL product?! Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder ($4.99) has been the best pressed/setting powder I’ve used in years. I picked it up to primarily set my undereye concealer with and it’s fantastic!
Some powders can be cakey (even with a light dusting) but this was not. It gives a natural, lightly matte finish while minimizing pores and controlling shine for at least 5 hours. It comes in 6 shades, but I went with translucent so that it would give me a natural highlighting effect under my eyes, but not distort my foundation if I decided to apply it anywhere else on my face.
TIP
If using to set undereye concealer, use a small tapered brush (I use this one from E.L.F.’s studio line) and roll or pat (not swipe) it on. I’ve found it works best with creamy concealer so keep that in mind. If you want to use it all over, just apply to the center of the face with a big fluffy brush.
