Like most girls, I love, love, love DIY home hair spa to cure my hair loss problem/pamper days. Sure going to get a facial or your nails done is always a treat, but I’m happy when I have a truly free day and can sit at home and watch Sex and the City while simultaneously doing a hair treatment, mani/pedi, and a mask. (With a glass of wine as a bonus!)
Spa Life’s products were created for days like that: relaxing spa treatments that you can do in the comfort of your home. A few weeks back I received a box of their Soothing Aloe + Cucumber Facial Wraps to test out:
They come 3 in a pack and are infused with a hydrating serum to help sooth and moisturize your skin.
They’re super easy to use: you kneed the package to make sure the serum is evenly spread, open it, and then just apply it to your (freshly washed!) face and sit back for 20 minutes. They have cutouts for your eyes, nose, and mouth, so they’re not intrusive; once you remove the mask, massage the remaining serum into your skin and voila! You’re done.
Bc of the cucumber extract, it has a nice cooling sensation, but you can also place these in the freezer for a few minutes for an even better chill. The masks didn’t disrupt my skin in any way, and although you can add moisturizer after use, I wanted to see how well the serum hydrated on its on so I skipped it. I did my applications before bed and when I woke up, my skin was still soft and hydrated.
I was gifted another package to giveaway to readers, so if you’d be interested in trying them out, just comment below telling me your favorite at home treatment + include your email address (YES, that’s IT!) US only, and winner will be selected at random. You have until February 8th to enter! This giveaway is now closed.

My favorite home treatment is just mixing up honey and sugar and slathering it all over my face!

I like to do a lip mask because they are dry as a deserve and cracking everyday! I like mixing olive oil, sugar, and honey and cover the area with a wrap (looks funny!) Thank you for the giveaway.
