For the first time in over a month I FINALLY had a full weekend off from work so I decided to get out and make the best of it. After taking pictures of a ballet class with my friend Andrea, we decided to head to midtown and have lunch at one of our favorite places, Boscos.
We’ve both been there countless times, but we both decided to try something new.
She tried their Grilled Portabella Club Sandwich (Portabella Mushroom Marinated and Char-Grilled; Topped with Fontina Cheese, Lettuce, Roasted Red Peppers, and Basil Mayonnaise)
and I had their Vegetable Burger with garlic parmesean fries (Vegetable Burger
Handmade Black Bean, Pearl Barley Vegetable Patty Served with Spinach, Tomatoes, Onion, Fontina Cheese on Homemade Brioche Bun with Avocado Mayo).
Both were SO GOOD! The fries had a little more garlic on them than I liked (glad I keep gum on me!), but we were both satisfied. And the best thing? Both of our meals were under $11. If you’re someone that eats a lot of fast food, their lunch menu is a great (and more healthier) alternative.
