Last Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the Southern Women’s Show in Memphis with SheaMoisture, an all-natural organic skincare + healthcare line that creates products for the whole family.
Their Coconut + Hibiscus Infused Shea Butter was already a staple in my home, so when they reached out to me to cover the event, how could I say no?
First let me say, if you’ve never used Shea Butter, you’re missing out! If you suffer from dry skin or hair, it is one of THE best products to use. It hydrates, contains vitamin E so it has healing properties, and just makes your skin SO soft. SheaMoisture’s products do that plus have different fragrances to choose from, so anybody can use them. They also have a fantastic haircare collection that many of my natural and curly haired friends use.
As a guest of Walgreens (one of the event’s major sponsors) SheaMoisture had the privilege of being apart of the Walgreens Pavilion. Attendees were able to receive samples and get their blood pressure checked, and then try SheaMoisture products, learn more about the brand itself and all of its products, and also receive a free mini massage from Samuel B Nelson, owner of Massage on the Go. It was busy day!
I received a free mini-massage and learned that…I’m on the computer waaaay too much lol. I have so much tension in my wrists, so when he showed me a flexing exercise I could barely stretch my hand bc they were so stiff! *sigh* #fashionbloggerproblems
One of the things I love about open events like these is that you never know who you will meet. I ran into customers that shop with me at work, a few friends, and had a ball talking with strangers. There were sooo many people in line for their booth!
I always gravitate to the Coconut + Hibiscus, but the Olive + Green Tea is a close 2nd choice. The scent is light and clean, and will be perfect for Spring.
I had so much fun hanging out with their team. Not only did I learn more about the brand, but I also learned that *gasp* there’s a cosmetics line launching at Target soon (check out their Pinterest board)!
I can’t wait until it launches. In the meantime, many of their products are BOGO Free at Walgreens this week so go stock up!!
