Much to my mom’s chagrin, I was NOT the little princess she expected to have. I was a tomboy through and through, and I HATED all things floral and pink. When we would go school shopping, we would be on the verge of WWIII bc I refused to wear any of the frilly looks she tried to pick out for me. Now that I’m older, though, I grew into my girliness (it’s quite funny actually), and while I did develop a love for floral prints, I still stay on the darker side. Don’t get me wrong, I love pink and I love pretty pastels, but something about a dark floral jacket or blouse just screams sophistication.
