Local Love | Hoot + Louise New Arrivals + More | KP FUSION
While out running errands on Wednesday (it was a whirlwind day to say the least), I stopped by Hoot + Louise to say hello to their sweet owner Anna. I’ve always loved how her vintage finds lives with her more modern collections, so I was excited to see that she had some fun new Spring pieces AND that she relaunched her online component. My camera stays on my hip so I snapped a few pics. Marigold is one of my favorite shades to see people in during the Spring, so this dress instantly caught my eye. Paired with a slight Peter Pan collar and polka dots? Perfection. If you follow me on IG, you already know how I feel about this beaded blouse. It’s vintage, but worn with the right contemporary pieces would be make for a great Solange-inspired look. This suit is from the 50s and is less than $40! I’d rock this with a pretty kelly green or hot pink shell to make it pop. Quite possibly the perfect Maxi dress. To shop at Hoot + Loiuse online, click here. If you’re in or near Memphis, visit their store at 109 G.E. Patterson (S. Main Arts District). If you’ll be downtown this weekend, the Central Station Farmer’s Market opens, and The Henny Penny Mobile Boutique, a new fashion truck by Cyndii Jo Hartley will be parked outside of Hoot + Louise from 9a-5p. Should make for a fun, fashionable Saturday! Recap | MFW Fashion Fund Party at Madewell {Photos} Runway Roundup | 2014 Memphis Fashion Week Day 1
