Last week I had a late breakfast meeting with a styling client, so we decided to meet at Cafe Eclectic, a local European style cafe in the heart of midtown. A few months ago they opened another location near the University of Memphis, and because I can never say know to “brunch” food, I decided to try their Stuffed French Toast, homemade french toast with Nutella, strawberries (or bananas) and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. I also had a cappuccino on the side.
This meal was basically a little piece of heaven. I have a massive sweettooth, and this totally hit the spot. The meal was relatively inexpensive (under $10), so you’re able to indulge without going broke!
Seriously, get into this deliciousness!
All of Cafe Eclectic’s locations will be perfect brunch spots this Spring in Summer. The U of M location is great for students who need to grab a little food before class (it’s walking distance from campus), and the McClean location has a really nice patio section. Live on Harbortown and don’t want to travel far? Grab your bikes or walk there as well.
