Now that I have my new lens, my Canon Rebel really lives on my hip lol. I’ve always loved taking pictures, so to have a quality lens that can really capture the details makes things much more fun. I love that we can tell stories visually: your subject, lighting, and environment can convey so many different moods based on the angle you shoot them in. By no means do I consider myself a photographer, but like anyone else, I get giddy when I snap a good picture.
When I did the makeup on Crazy Beautiful’s Shoot the Breeze Lookbook, I took my camera along so that I could practice and hopefully get a few good images to share on the blog. The model, Margaret, was such a doll to work with, and I loved how in-tune she was with her face and body. She knew her angles (VERY important to remember models!), so in-between outfits and location selection, we’d scoot to the side and take a few. I shared the beauty looks in this post, but now that their lookbook is up I can share the others I snapped of some of the clothes.
We shot in one central location but it’s crazy how the light changed depending on where we where. It’s one of the reasons that natural light photography is my favorite. Be sure to visit CB’s site to shop their new lookb00k. They have a ton of new product in!
