Although some take the trend a little too far at times (skip the full-body catsuit, please), leopard print is one that has been around for years and at this point, has upgraded from just being the occasional accent to a full on classic in my book. Leopard print is one of my go-to recommendations whenever some asks me for the easiest way to give their wardrobe a little refresh. In fact, I advise people to use the versatile pattern as the neutral (aka the foundation piece) and build their look around it to give themselves more options.
It works well with so many color palettes, so depending on what look you’re going for, a quick tip to remember no matter your personal style:
Minimalist
Pair with black, white, cream, heather gray, and caramel.
Sophisticate
Jewel tones, oxblood, and classic red keep the focus on the print.
Trend-Setter
Mix with small floral prints, stripes, and pops of neon or pastels.
