A few weeks ago, my friend Andrea Fenise held her first Brunch + Sew Workshop, a fun spin on traditional sewing classes. She and Ava Loren Design owner Kamesha Richard facilitated an easy, informative lesson, which included art icebreakers, a light yummy brunch from Ladyfingers Catering Company, LLC, and resulted in some cute home interior pillows for everyone to take home.
Andrea hired me to capture the day’s festivities. Take a peak at all of their fun.
With both newbie and experienced sewers in the group it was a great mix and all were able to learn something new. The next workshop will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014, so if you’re interested in learning how to sew or to get a refresher while enjoying a little stylish conversation over brunch, click here to order your ticket. The classes are small to maintain the intimacy so take advantage of the early bird special and don’t miss out!
