I can’t remember the first time I met Brandi, only that it was via mutual friends years ago, and that I’ve been obsessed with her hair since day one. She’s been natural since the 9th grade, but she’s been wearing it (mostly) wild, curly, and free for the last 2 years or so. Though her texture is finer, we have a very similar curl pattern, so she is my hairspiration for when mine gets longer (the scissors have been put done. Promise. ) Whenever we see each other, we always laugh and talk about our latest makeup discoveries (both products + tricks), and this session was no different. We met downtown and the weather was fantastic. It was mid-afternoon, and the street was lined with trees, so the sunlight was naturally diffused (and made her skin glow).
