Back in 1994 (when artists still released REAL remixes of their songs), Brandy dropped a remix of her hit single “I Wanna Be Down” featuring MC Light, Yo Yo and Queen Latifah. Brandy was THAT CHICK, and at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards they celebrated the album’s 20th year anniversary and performed it together.
I have SOOOO many memories linked to this album (we used to practice singing Brokenhearted during study hall, lol) so I was excited to see this performance. Brandy’s voice hasn’t changed at all, and I loved the look she was rockin.
