Pizza is moreso a necessity than a guilty pleasure for me, so I’m always game to try out a new style of pie. The day that I cracked my laptop screen, I popped into Lost Pizza Co. for the first time and it turned out to be a much needed highlight on an otherwise horrible day.
I’m a veggie pizza lover, so I immediately zoned in on the The Happy Hippie (fresh baby spinach, fresh tomatoes, artichoke hearts, green peppers, onions, black olives & our house cheese).
The homemade sauce was rich and robust but not heavy, and the crust was similar in texture to cheesesticks-firm but chewy (it also comes as gluten-free). They offer different sizes, but the small is more than enough for one person. I had an order of cheesesticks as well and I took over half of everything home. Great bang for your buck.
You can easily get something to go, but if you want to grab lunch or just chill out for a bit, the environment is very conducive to that. The bar area had a TV, but I decided to sit next to the window and just enjoy a little sunshine.
It’s very affordable; I paid around $15 for everything (including a drink) and I had enough left over for lunch the next day. I’ll be back!
