Although I have combination skin that leans more towards oily, I loooove the look of dewy, bronzy + highlighted skin. When I first picked up Lorac’s TANtalizer Baked Bronzer ($33) I wasn’t impressed w/it but it took my co-worker coming in with the prettiest glow a few weeks back that made me give it another shot. My skin tone falls in-between being medium/olive so finding a highlighting bronzer that will show up on my skin is actually tough. Baked products tend to be more pigmented, and after experimenting with different brushes, I was finally able to get this baked bronzer to work and it’s now a staple in my everyday makeup bag. So the key to this bronzer is scraping off a thin layer (stay with me here). Initially, none of the brushes could really pick up any product, but once I scraped it off, I was able to create the prettiest glow on my skin! It’s listed as being a bronzer, but I actually use it as a highlighter. If your skin is tanned or darker, this adds a super gorgeous lit from within glow to the high points of your face. I usually pat mine on top of my cheeks (after adding blush) and down the bridge of my nose to create a “real world” jlo glow that will last pretty much all day. Baked bronzers can be applied wet or dry but I think using this wet would be entering disco ball country. It pairs really, really well with a peach or pinky/ginger blush, and you can also apply it to your lids in place of shadow if you want to brighten your eyes a bit.
