Bridal season is among us, and while I’m not planning one for myself, I do enjoy the prep and pretty that comes along with it. A few weeks back I popped into The Barefoot Bride during their open house. The bridal shop specializes in wedding gown brokerage, which means you’ll be able to select from designer gowns at a fraction of the cost. They do carry a few consignment gowns, but 98% of their inventory is brand new, and all of the gowns are 5 years old or less.
Not only were the gowns gorgeous, but I loved its shabby-chic decor as well; I look for inspiration everywhere, and many of the elements of their interior gave me a little inspo for a refresh at home.
Ran into Andrea there (we winded up having dinner afterwards bc that’s how real friends roll, lol).
They sell jewelry and accessories as well, so even if you aren’t in the market for a dress, I whole-heartedly believe in checking out bridal boutiques when you’re on the hunt for something new. 
Shelby Swink’s dress was on display (her trash the dress photoshoot with Elizabeth Hoard Photography went viral a few months back. The colors are breath-taking in person).
