Ever since I got bitten by the decor bug, all I’ve wanted to do is shop for things for my house. Sure, I’ve picked up a lipstick and dress here and there, but my focus, everywhere I go, is to find something for my home. Outside of 3-4 large furniture pieces, I pretty much have those things squared away, so I look for decorative accent pieces when I’m out: lamps, side tables, baskets, throws, etc. Little changes that can make a big impact in any room.
The quiz I took in April said that my preferred aesthetic is Cali Boho, and while I think that is true, I’d have to make changes to my big ticket items (couch, coffee table, etc) in order to fully embrace it (and mama needs a few more coins to do that, lol). So right now, I’m working on vignettes throughout my apt (little updates that I can make over time without going broke). Much of what I find can still be used down the road when I’m able to step into that side of design.
