After a whirlwind 24 hours of work + travel (I gave my first presentation on Blogging at an AAF Luncheon!), I headed straight for Marmi’s 1 Year Anniversary Shopping Party in Saddle Creek once I made it back to the city.
With a percentage of proceeds benefiting St. Jude, shoppers, bloggers, and more came out to celebrate and check out their new Fall arrivals.
Marmi makes incredibly comfortable shoes that are also quite stylish, so you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. One of the trends that I saw in their collection that night? Leopard print, which, IMO, is one of those trends that’ll never go out of style and should be wardrobe mainstays.
I was so happy to see my girl Laura (Walking in Memphis in High Heels), who also got in on the leopard trend:
And what did I leave with that night? You guessed it, something leopard, lol. The Karee booties by Vanelli, to be exact:
I came very close to leaving with the Gada loafer, but I decided to do the booties instead. The flats were definitely me, but I felt like the booties were a bit more elevated in style, and I’m trying to have a little more fun in my wardrobe. Besides, when it gets cold I’m always wanting cute booties to wear with my dresses when I go out, so these will work out great. The heel is right under 3 inches, so I can actually walk instead of teetering around in them. They’re also gonna be great with the distressed denim skinnies I’m ready to break out!
If you live in or near Memphis, visit the Saddle Creek location (located near Vera Bradley + Madewell). Visit www.shop.marmishoes.com/ to see the full Fall 2015 Collection (they carry sizes 4-13) and to find a location near you. Follow them on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to stay up to date with new releases and see a ton of BTS shots!
