Saturday morning I stopped by jewelry + accessories retailer Kendra Scott’s soft opening at their new Saddle Creek location. Fans of the brand came out in droves; at any given moment there were at least 30 people in the store shopping up a storm!
Started in 2002 with $500 + a dream, Kendra Scott’s pieces are so popular because they’re able to live in that covetable space of being modern yet classic. Whether you’re wearing jeans and tee or a cute dress and heels, you can incorporate her pieces into your look with ease.
Healthy snacks for us to nosh on.
The layout of the store is open, light, and airy (give me all the natural light!) and in addition to the collections that fill the walls, they have a Color Bar™ that allows you to design your own custom pieces as well.
You select the style, metal tone, and stone, and they create it right there on the spot! The pricing is the same as a pre-made piece, so if you’re looking to create something unique for a loved one or as a gift, this is the perfect option. I’ll show you guys the piece I designed for myself soon.
I love that their team members wear the jewelry. Every one that works there has their own personal style, so the pieces can really come to life and give you inspiration on how to wear them. Chopped off my hair, and went casual cool with my BR Knock Out Sweatshirt for the day. Living in my leopard flats + oh so comfy black denim skinnies right now…
With Laura (Walking in Memphis in High Heels) + Sophorn (Memphis Flyer | Style Sessions), and little Leighton. Is she not the cutest?! Speaking of Laura, she’s hosting a Kendra Gives Back shopping party with 20% of the sales benefiting LeBonheur on Dec 5th from 11a-2p. Stop by to shop with her if you’re free!
LB with Laura Pait, the memphis coomunications event manager. SUCH a doll to work with. When I met with Laura a few weeks ago, I loved how passionate she is about KS, their history, and how she embodies the brand. Planning something fun for the blog so stay tuned. 🙂
Kathleen of Lipstick and a Blue Apron. It’s always good to see her; we got to chat a bit about blogging and her adorable son Payton Harris as she picked out a few more charms to add to her collection.
Being that I work in Saddle Creek as well, it’s going to be (a sweet) torture because there were so many pieces that I wanted! My birthday and Christmas ARE coming up, though, so I need to get added to someone’s nice list! (kidding, kidding. maybe…)
