I’ve always wanted to be one of those people that decks out their home decor whenever the seasons chance but life never worked out that way. My schedule was always too jam packed to do it, but this year I have a much better work-life balance, so I can play around with Fall decor a bit.
I don’t want to go too crazy with the decor, however, so I’m keeping it super simple. After seeing a Fall fireplace decor on My Splendid Living I’m totally going to decorate my mantle within the next few weeks to pair with these small pumpkin centerpieces:
They’re so, so easy (and inexpensive) to make! All you need is a bunch of the heirloom pumpkins (real or artificial, it’s up to you.) and glass hurricane candle holders. Depending on your decor, you can skip the colorful ones and go for all white ones, or pick up the small metallic ones like these from Michael’s. You can even get crafty and spray paint your own.
If that vase feels too bulky, just get some of the taller, slimmer ones. You can style them alone (this one is in the kitchen) or with candles + autumnal greenery for your mantle or coffee table. The best thing about it? Whether you go with real or artificial decor, you can do something fun throughout your home for under $25.
