Day 1 of Memphis Fashion Week’s runway shows took place at the newly renovated Crosstown Concourse. It doesn’t officially open until August, but the industrial vibe helped set the mood while keeping all of the fun fashion grounded. The first day of shows are with featured designers, so we were treated to Spring collections from Sheila Jay, Monte Stewart (Beg + Borrow Custom Apparel), This is Sloane, and the night’s headliner, Nicole Miller.
Bright colors and bold patterns were the name of the game! Also of note: step out of the box with your accessories: even if you keep your silhouettes simple, let statement necklaces and earrings elevate your look.
