Finding the perfect gift for others (or yourself!) can be hard, especially when it seems like every store carries the same thing. During times like this, I like to visit local/specialty shops, because you’re sure to find something that’s unique and/or one of a kind. One of my faves is Falling Into Place, a specialty gift shop located in the burgeoning Broad Avenue Arts District.
The owner, Mary Claire White, has been able to curate local and indie brands in a way that let’s you know that when you give a gift from her store, you won’t see it everywhere else.
I recently popped in to see what newness she had in-store (for myself + others, lol). It’s a go-to destination for delicate jewelry, plus I knew she’d gotten in some new handbags that I needed to check out.
I love how lightweight the betsy & iya earrings are.
You can never have too many rings.
As if I need another planner.
These PONS are so comfy. I loved the turquoise color.
How gorgeous are these bags from cueropapel & tijera®, a line of artisean leather handbags, wallets and accessories by Costa-Rica based designer Sofia Protti?
The leather is so soft and supple. I love a huge tote (and this green is unexpected), but I’m obsessed with this colorblocked one.
She’s also renovated the backyard, where they host candle-making workshops from time to time. It’s available for rental, as well.
Her candles are amazing. They very fragrant and burn a very long time. My favorite is the Mandarine Sunrise.
