Some people are born with perfect skin, but most of us have to have a little help from our (color correcting) friends. Hard Candy recently released a new collection of color correcting concealers, powders, primers, and expert sticks. Focused on helping you neutralize your skin concerns (acne, dry skin, dark spots and dull skin), the creamy formulas melt into your skin to help you start with a smooth, even base before you apply the rest of your makeup.
I received the Radiant Primer in Green, which helps to combat skin redness; the formula is really creamy, and best of all, it doesn’t leave a weird green cast on your skin (I’ve used some that do and you look like Jim Carrey in The Mask). It’s available in 6 shades, and you can apply all over or spot treat as needed.
I also received 2 expert sticks, one in Yellow (corrects mild redness) + one in Lavender (neutralizes dullness + sallowness in Medium to Dark skin tones). While these aren’t has creamy as the primer, they’re better for spot treatment. You may only have a few spots here and there that need to be covered, so these help you be a little more precise. They’re pigmented but blendable, so you won’t feel like you’re rubbing product off when you’re applying your foundation.
