Anytime you get to shop and a portion of the proceeds benefit a charity or organization, it’s gonna be a good time. I had a chance to stop by Pop Up Fabulous, a sort of style bazaar with unique designs, textiles and eclectic jewelry from designers Carolina Desouza, Cynthia Cazort Collins, Sue Sartor, Mary Seay Loeb + Mimi Beasley Danoksy (Brave Designs).
Benefiting Regional ONE Health (the oldest hospital in Tennessee), we noshed on sushi, cupcakes, and rosé while shopping Summer apropos designs. Gorgeous kaftans and ponchos, bathing suits, trend-ready pom + tassel earrings, beaded chokers and even large scale canvases were for sale in a beautiful home in the historic Central Gardens neighborhood.
I had sensory overload and couldn’t decide if I wanted to focus on the designs on the home’s decor. It was a breathtakingly beautiful home and served as the perfect backdrop for a fun girl’s night of shopping.
Tassel earrings are such a huge trend right now. Not sure how to wear them? Keep it chic with a gauzy crepe dress or pair with a white blouse, linen trousers + sandals.
My dear sweet Goose (Augusta Campbell), Stylist, and Fashion Editor for Memphis Magazine. She spent the night trying on different dresses and jewelry to show people how to rock them. Is there anything more fun than playing dress-up?
How gorgeous are these beaded bib necklaces and bracelets from Carolina DeSouza? They’re handmade in Columbia by women in indigenous communities.
Brave Design always has gorgeous pieces. I love that they incorporate the healing power of gems and minerals in their jewelry, and they’re locally made in Memphis.
Stylists Ali Boone, Lauren Draffin, and Fox + Cat Vintage Owner Katie Gore (I have some fun stuff coming up with these ladies so stay tuned).
Fun times, indeed. Thank you to Regional One Health ONE Club for hosting such a fabulous event!
