Once it starts to warm up, my palette shifts and I begin to crave, salads, fruits, seafood and anything COLD. Memphis is very humid during the Summer, so keeping cool is everyone’s goal. Going to get ice-cream is a must, but there’s something to be said about treats that are made with real bits of fruit and yummy juice.
I’ve rounded up a few popsicle and sorbet recipes to try this Summer if you’re tired of your basic vanilla and chocolate treats. They’re creamy but just as light, and if they’re homemade with real fruit and juice, a LOT healthier. I’ve never made them at home before, but it’s time to stock up on new mixing bowls (check this post here) and other supplies so that I can keep it cool!
