[…] event today through Thursday 8/24, so if you liked the Dolce Vita booties I talked about getting in this post, check out their sale section and save an extra 20% off select styles with code […]
Aside from a pretty floral off the shoulder dress from Target, everything I’ve purchased over the last few weeks has been black, pale pink, + cream. I’m mostly shopping for Fall, and I’m wanting a more streamlined, edgier look, so I’m only going to get things within that muted, neutral color palette (plus grey and maybe olive).
I always try to work with a specific color palette in the Fall because it makes getting dressed soooo much easier. You can mix and match what you have while still experimenting with your shoes and accessories. (Need help prepping your wardrobe for Fall? Start here).
I’ve rounded up a few things that are all under $100 (because I love a good buy):
Old Navy Mid-Rise Micro-Flare Jeans, $34.99
Kensie Crepe Vest, $39.97
Vince Camuto Koral Perforated Open Toe Bootie, $79.97
One Clothing Lace-Up Sweatshirt Dress, $45
Free People Londontown Thermal Tee, $68
Style & Co Skinny Jeans, $19.98
H&M V-neck Camisole Top, $9.99
Dolce Vita Lennox Open Toe Booties, $54
H&M Long-sleeved Top, $9.99
Urban Outfitters Reversible Faux Leather Tote Bag, $49.99
Jack by BB Dakota Lyssa Cold Shoulder Top, $25.99
H&M Jersey Dress, $9.99
dv Kenli Perforated Mule Booties, $34.99
Women’s Bp. Side Slit Tee, $19
If you can, run don’t walk to H&M. They just had a MAJOR sale, and while they’ve obviously sold through a lot of stuff, you can still find some great deals (and it’s actually easier to shop since it’s more organized). Last week I picked up the camisole, long sleeve tee, the jersey dress (in black + pale pink), plus a leopard patterned short skirt all for $34. The tee fits perfectly: it’s not fitted but it has a little shape to it so you can wear it alone or layer it under vests + jackets. I’m going to go back to get more because it’s a quality basic.
I also already have the Dolce Vita mules from Shopbop; the heel is comfy and I liked that it comes up higher in the front. It comes in black as well (I have no shame wearing the same shoes in different colors!), so I’m going to try to order those before they sell out!
Have you decided on your “look’ for Fall?
