Last Fall, I was finally able to find a few wool fedoras that I liked (and that fit right!), so this year I’ll be adding more to the collection. They’re so versatile, and pretty much anyone can pull them off no matter their personal style. I like ones that are rich in color with minimal details so that I can accessorize the rest of my outfit however I please.
I got this embroidered flutter-sleeve dress because I loved the swingy, A-line cut and paisley print. I wore it to a family BBQ with flat sandals over the weekend because it was 90 degrees during the day, but I then swapped them out for mules and added a vintage denim jacket + this plum fedora that Fashionable Hats sent me to make it more weather appropriate since I was headed out for drinks and it dropped 20 degrees once the sun set. They have a ton of modern styles + brands on their site, and this wide brim style from Walrus Hats comes in multiple colors. Plum is one of my favorite Fall shades, and it’s a fresh alternative to black or tan.

It’s not quite cool enough to completely switch over my closet yet, so I like that I can use jackets, scarves and hats to stretch out my Summer wardrobe for a little bit longer. This dress is actually lined, so I’ll be able to wear it until early October.
The color in the hat doesn’t exactly match the dress, but tonally, it all works together. I can’t wait to wear it with this cream cold shoulder sweater from BB Dakota and black or grey skinny jeans.

I bought a navy fedora from Lucky Brand back in June when we were in Orlando, so all I need is a grey one and I’ll be set!
How many hats do you own?
This post was sponsored, but opinions are totally my own.
