I love getting dressed up, but on days when I have photo shoots lined up, wearing heels is not an option. (#sorrynotsorry). I like to be able to be flexible so that I can get the shot, and these new Upgrade Clogs I received c/o Naot Footwear might just be my go-to Fall shoe.
Naot is known for their unique anatomical footbed. The footbed is a “negative” print of the foot, just like the footprint we leave when walking in the sand. It is flexible, soft, shock absorbent, supports the heel and alleviates fatigue and pain. The footbeds are made of natural cork and latex and are covered in a pampering layer of suede. The uppers are made of high quality Italian leathers. When I put these on, it felt like I was wearing running shoes-super soft and comfy. Even though they have a 2” inch heel, I couldn’t feel it. Normally I gravitate towards black or nude work shoes but the olive shade is an unexpected neutral that will still go with everything. And the side strap? It’s actually velcro!
In conjunction with Kaufman Shoes, Naot Footwear is hosting a Trunk Show with the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis (their mission is to encourage philanthropy, foster leadership among women and support programs that enable women and children to reach their full potential) today + tomorrow and I’d love if you’d join me this evening! If you try a pair, one pair is donated; if you try two, two pair are donated. When fashion + giving back collides, that’s always a good time to me.
