Kimonos are one of those things that I will always wear, so whenever I come across an unexpected color combination or pattern, I know it’s going home with me.
I popped into Target on a lunch break a few weeks back, saw this patterned wrap kimono and knew it had to be mine. The gold and burgundy screamed Fall, and I was actually happy to add a shorter option into my wardrobe. It comes with a belt but I preferred it open and just took it off. I initially wanted to wear it with my white booties but it felt too Austin Powers so I settled on a pair of heels. Funnily enough, I got these Nine West heels yeeeeeeears ago and couldn’t believe that they were a perfect match. I either wear a shoe to death or can keep it for a few seasons so this worked out perfectly.
While I was shopping I also saw the velvet tiered cami and grabbed it too since I don’t own anything else like it. The mustard color is so rich and pretty, and hopefully, I can find a longer black blazer to wear with it. I’d even pair it with a cobalt blue one!
I keep trying to switch up my jewelry but what can I saw: I’m a hoops girl. I buy 2-3 pairs a year, BUT, I did get to wear my new necklace from The Gypsy Fawn. The designer Ashley came to town last month so that we could shoot their Fall lookbook and she gifted me this piece. You can see her full collection here.

This might have been my only chance to wear it this season; temps are dropping back down this week, which means I can break out my sweaters for real for real. Yay!
