My best friend Candace is ah-mazing at wrapping gifts. Me? Not so much, lol. This year, however, I figured out how to wrap gifts in a way that wouldn’t be hard, but would still look a little more polished and cute. The secret? Kraft paper.
Now, I know using kraft paper to wrap gifts isn’t new at all, BUT, I realized that it’s the perfect paper to use for people who aren’t that good at gift wrapping.
When you use patterned paper, you’re trying to keep designs lined up (which can wind up looking crazy if you can’t cut in a straight line, lol), but with kraft paper, it’s all one color, so if gives the illusion of being seamless, even if it’s not.
Just wrap up your gift and tie them with ribbon (Michael’s usually has tubes of different colors/patterns on sale right now) and whatever else you want to add and BOOM! Everyone thinks that you’re just so chic and cool when they get your gift!
I love blogger Drew Scott, and he made this quick vid on diy minimal gift wrapping; check it out for some extra ideas on jooshing up your gift wrapping.
I can’t tell yall how much wrapping paper I have wasted because I couldn’t line things up right, lol. This was a game changer, and I’ll be able to use the paper year round instead of keeping it tucked away in the closet.

I am not a good wrapper either! I usually do gift bags unless it’s something that won’t fit into a bag. I love that you’re using bows instead!
