While I don’t own as many as I’d like, I’ve always felt that graphic tees are closet staples that everyone should have. They instantly give you a cool girl vibe, are quite versatile, and are just plain fun.
My favorite way to wear them are with denim and under a blazer or jean jacket, but they also work well with skirts and even layered under a tank or shift dress.
I used to gravitate towards the ones with quirky little phrases, but now I lean more and more towards band tees. I love the Rolling Stones (Paint It Black is my jam!), so when I saw this tee (same store, similar style), I knew I had to have it.
I always feel like a little rocker chick whenever I wear one, so this time I decided to break out my leopard booties I got from Marmi a few years ago; I felt like the print on the shoes would be a good contrast against the tee’s design (something about that pop of red).
I met a friend for dinner in midtown this day and I got to “strut” a little bit through the square since I was parked a few blocks away. It was a very Carrie moment (in my head, lol).

I love that band tee, it’s so cute how you styled it! And I love those booties, they add a fun pop to your outfit.

Thanks Laura! I have to wear them more. I got them at that Marmi event years ago but have only worn them a handful of times. They’re actually pretty comfy!
