I love when Spring comes back around, because it’s one of my favorite seasons for beauty. While you can still do the bold lips from Winter, your overall beauty look is a little bit sweeter, which means soft pinks, purples and mauves are very on trend shades to play with.
Clarins recently released a new 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette, SOS Primer, and Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in gorgeous shades that fall in line with Pantone’s 2018 color of the year, and it’s a fun collection to add to your makeup bag as we transition into the season.
The Lavender SOS primer helps with sallowness while also having a brightening effect, The Shadow Palette (Lovely Rose) can be used singularly for a simple wash of colors on the lids, or you can layer shades for a soft daytime smokey eye.
The colors are buildable (apply wet for more intensity), crease free, and don’t budge. You can even use the darker shade to line your lower lashes in place of liner (I like to do this because liner tends to run on me when I apply it there). If the colors alone feel too intense, just use your contour powder as a transition shade in your crease to tone it down.
I usually wear matte or liquid lipsticks because I love really pigmented colors, but I’m always open to switching it up. The Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector gives a pretty wash of color; it’s high shine and makes your lips really soft.
Adding their new products to my everyday makeup bag will give me so many options, especially when I need to go from day to night. o see more from Clarin’s Makeup Collection, click here. If pinks and purple aren’t your thing, they have 6 other palettes to choose from.
