I have the hardest time finding button-down shirts that fit how I like but when I do, it’s like Christmas morning, lol. I’m also obsessed with stripes and have been wanting a red + white striped one for yeeeeears so I was basically smiling like a Cheshire cat when I came out of the H&M fitting room. lol. I attended a blogger meetup at Carriage Crossing a few week ago and knew this would be the perfect top to wear to it.
It has a relaxed fit (I actually went down one size) and is slightly longer in the back like a tunic, so if I want to have a lazy day and wear leggings it will work with those as well. This distressed pair of denim from Old Navy has been a fave since I purchased them (I have to stop myself from wearing them more than once a week, lol), and I hope that they restock on this cut so that I can re-up in the Fall.
It’s funny, it took me a long time to get on the distressed denim trend. I mean, I loved the look on other people, but for whatever reason I avoided getting any for myself. Once I got my first pair, though, I was hooked and it’s now the style I look for the most when I’m buying jeans. It’s crazy how much it can change the look of an outfit. It’s a favorite style trick of mine now because even if you pair them with a simple top + heels, you can still create a “look”.

This is such a cute look on you! I have similar distressed jeans and love them. I love that you paired them with that top.
