Ballet Memphis debuted their Nutcracker show over the weekend, and leading up to its opening night, they collaborated with one of my faves, 17 Berkshire, for a special shoot (and dessert) and guess who got to shoot it?!?
17 Berkshire introduced the “The Sugar Plum Fairy“, a medley of mixed berry and hazelnut crunch surrounded by vanilla bean mouse. It’s a sweet but light dessert, and what better way to showcase it than with members from the Nutcracker production?
After the shoot, Nuha (17’s owner) and I looked over the photos like really? Did we really just shoot ballerina in her shop??? It was so much fun and such a cool concept for me to be a part of; shooting branded, conceptualized content all of the time is my career goal with my photography, so this was a dream come true!
The specialty dessert will be available through December 31st, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Ballet Memphis, one of the city’s premier Ballet Companies. Stop in to try it (and get a macaraon or 2 to go!)
