As more and more women step into and grow in their purpose, now more than ever it’s important to find spaces where you can come together to both support and celebrate those strides. Last month I attended Dr. Jamie Hardy’s first event for her FAB Gatherings, a collective of busy women going beyond the overwhelm, beyond the frustration, and beyond the guilt to give their food, actions, and beliefs some much needed attention.
Dr. Jamie is a board certified and licensed Pharmacist, and her goal with the FAB Gatherings is to create an intimate conversational dinner experience that will position you for success and health in the New Year. That night, a diverse group of women of all ages gathered at CHAR for good food, laughter, and real conversation.
Throughout the dinner we had open discussions about making time for self-care while still balancing relationships (you can’t pour into others if you’re always empty), defining personal goals that we want to focus on in the new year, and our overall health. While everyone was at a different stage in their life, it’s interesting to see the common threads that we share as we go through womanhood. We may handle things differently, but it was refreshing to have honest dialogue around it and know that we’re not alone, no matter what space we’re individually in.
I love this dress so so much (found it at H+M last year) and need to find more like it!
I had a great night talking and learning from the women that attended. So much fabulousness in one room!
The next FAB Gathering is taking place on April 28, 2019 at The Jack Robinson Gallery. Click here for more info on the event and to learn more about the services that Dr. Jamie offers (she’s launching a coaching + resource program within the next few weeks).
