Memphis Fashion Week kicked off last night with Fashion Night at Crosstown Concourse, and if you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that I’m always there for the City Style! Benefiting the Memphis Fashion Fund + EMDP, it is always a packed event, and this year seemed bigger than before. Vendors were set up throughout the main floor of the concourse so that attendees could shop while they mingled, and per usual, the style didn’t disappoint.
Small statement bags and jewelry were the standout accessories for the night, but I also loved that so many people embraced bright, poppy shades of color. You will always have people in black because it’s forever chic, but I personally get giddy when the color jumps out! This is one of my favorite events of the year because you really get to see people experiment with their personal style, which is always fun to capture.
Here’s a peek at some City Style:
I missed sooooo many people last night, so please come say hi if you see me!
The fun continues on tonight at Day 1 of the Runway Shows and we’ll be back at Crosstown. Be sure to follow me on Instagram to see what’s happening in real time; click here to grab a ticket before they’re completely sold out!
