Day 1 of the Memphis Fashion Week Runway shows took place at Crosstown Concourse this year. The first night of shows always focuses on featured designers, which are designers that are a little more established and/or selling their designs via their own E-Commerce, trunk shows and custom order.
The vendors from FNO were set up in the main Concourse area, so the show was held in the theater. It was a bit of a different experience for me, because with me doing Influencer “hosting” duties, I didn’t really have time to pull my camera out. I basically had to be a spectator and while it was an adjustment, I enjoyed it. We all sat together, and in between collections me and Anne actually talked a lot about blogging, photography (finding a photographer that knows your best angles is KEY), and just life in general. It was fun!
Sponsored by LRK (Looney Ricks Kiss), we saw collections from Tanganika by Tangie, Demi Blvck, This Is Sloane, TIENA, and Jodi Brewer Couture, with accessories from Tilton Street.
Here are highlights from their collections:

The temps dropped overnight, so I went from wearing a flirty little dress to faux leather leggings (with a fleece lining) + a cutesy striped blouse from Loft. I’m obsessed with white shoes this season and these Jeffrey Campbell pointed toe kitten heel slingbacks from Shopbop are so friggin comfortable. I love them because not only do they add a little bit of edge to your look. but they have a cushion padding so it’s like walking on air. You can seriously walk around in them all day. If I can find them in other colors I will snatch them up!
